Manager - Global Market, Night Dealer

About the role

The Global Market Night Dealer will lead the execution of client orders across treasury products, primarily equities, while supporting the expansion into FX, structured products and fixed income. This senior position operates within HL Bank Singapore’s Global Markets division, providing market insights and ensuring seamless trade execution during night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Execute client orders on treasury products, mainly equities.
• Develop capability to execute FX, structured products and fixed income, with training provided.
• Provide timely market updates to Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors.
• Conduct product training and briefings for RMs, ICs and CSOs as needed.
• Build and maintain a strong network of counterparties to enhance execution quality and information flow.
• Review new product features and ranges.
• Implement programs to meet financial targets set by management.
• Ensure all activities comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work on public holidays when required.
• Perform additional duties as directed by company management.

Required profile

• University degree and/or professional qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in treasury or market trading.
• Familiarity with treasury products such as FX, bonds and equities.
• Willingness to work on public holidays as needed.
• Relevant certifications (FMRP, M1B, M6, M6A, M5CACS 1 & 2).
