Manager, Industry Talent Partner – Centre for Career Readiness

About the role

The Manager, Industry Talent Partner will lead employer relationship management and deliver industry-facing career opportunities for SIT students and graduates. This role supports SIT’s mission to produce industry‑ready graduates by building employer partnerships and securing Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP) placements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to prospective employers, identify manpower needs and develop IWSP and early‑career opportunities that align with programme requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of employer accounts, serve as primary contact, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end IWSP processes, including job description checks, approvals, communications and monitoring of applications and offers.
• Support planning and execution of career fairs, networking sessions and other employer engagement events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience in business development, account management, talent acquisition or related fields.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust with employers and internal stakeholders.
• Organised, analytical and resourceful, able to manage multiple accounts and deliver outcomes within timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems and job portals.
• Ability to work with digital dashboards and reporting tools.
