Manager, Regulation and Compliance (RD)

About the role

The Regulation Division manages the standards of Singapore's private education and continuing education training ecosystem. As Manager, you will help ensure that Training Providers (TPs) and Private Education Institutions (PEIs) follow the regulatory requirements set by the Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), protecting consumers and supporting a skilled workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure TPs seeking funding from SWDA meet the registration and quality standards.
• Regulate Private Education Institutions in line with the Private Education Act 2009 and its regulations.
• Lead inspections of TPs and PEIs to confirm adherence to the Act, Regulations and SWDA requirements.
• Investigate reports of non-compliance and take enforcement action against non-compliant providers.
• Review existing legislation, regulatory frameworks and operational policies so they stay relevant and effective.
• Use artificial intelligence and data analytics to improve tools and processes, boosting efficiency and compliance monitoring.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in regulation, enforcement, investigations or operations.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
