Managing Director / Head of Office and Commercial & Support ASPAC

About the role

Satair is looking for a Managing Director / Head of Office covering the region and commercial and support functions (ASPAC). The role is based in Singapore and provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to drive business growth, financial performance and efficiencies in line with corporate goals, while building stakeholder relationships with customers and suppliers. It also acts as the country's legal officer and is a member of the Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the official legal officer for the country and serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
• Take part in Global Management team meetings and promote the strategy, vision and mission internally and externally.
• Identify market trends, risks and opportunities and report them to the CEO and executive management.
• Grow regional sales and support and ensure their profitability, and work with the Global Head of Functions on regional goals and KPIs.
• Ensure operational continuity, global consistency and compliance with Airbus legal standards and SOPs.
• Build relationships with key customer and supplier executives and managers, and act as an ambassador for Satair's global services.
• Coordinate with other Airbus organizations in the region, attend commercial meetings, shows and events, and visit top customers quarterly at senior level.
• Keep the global and regional sales plans aligned, and follow up on milestones and deadlines.
• Ensure facilities and organisation are sized for growth expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to lead a regional organisation and coordinate with the global functional team.
• Strong business and financial acumen, leadership and management skills.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to integrity.
