Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore, reporting to the Production Manager. The role develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequences and processes for manufacturing parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies, and coordinates with design engineering on new product releases.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve manufacturing process problems promptly to keep production flowing smoothly.
• Improve processes using lean techniques and engineering principles.
• Identify and implement manufacturing cost reductions and productivity improvements.
• Research, develop and document new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Load BOMs correctly and maintain routines in the ERP system.
• Layout new production lines, including material flow patterns.
• Support facility growth by ensuring seamless transfer of products between facilities and seamless implementation of engineering change notices.
• Pursue product design changes that improve manufacturability.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related technical degree.
• Preferred: at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or operations.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• SQL, Power BI or AI-related experience preferred.
