Manufacturing Operation Supervisor

About the role

HP is hiring a Manufacturing Operation Supervisor in Singapore to oversee manufacturing activities, ensure performance on inventory and cost and meet downstream requirements. The role manages a team of higher-level non-exempt individual contributors supporting moderately complex daily work.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, set and monitor annual performance plans, coach and develop the team, and make sure the right tools are in place.
• Ensure products and services meet the performance metrics defined by next-level management.
• Structure the maintenance program, covering tooling uptime, obsolescence projects and spare parts management.
• Drive maintenance-focused tooling improvement initiatives.
• Prepare operation performance reports.
• Manage key business-critical process documents such as standard operating procedures, statements of work and business scorecards/dashboards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering.
• At least 4+ years of experience in the operations function.
• Experience in fab tool maintenance is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong communication, technical and people management skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical analysis and financial modelling.
• Leadership skills including team building and conflict resolution.
