Manufacturing Program Engineer (Localisation)

About the role

HP is hiring a Manufacturing Program Engineer (Localisation) in Singapore. The role coordinates and leads the activities of internal and outsourced manufacturing partners in support of the worldwide manufacture of a product, from new product introduction through end of lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and outsourced manufacturing partners to recommend and implement localisation requirements and end packaging processes that improve quality and reduce cost.
• Represent the Manufacturing program management localisation team for all phases of larger and more complex development and manufacturing projects.
• Manage and create SKU BOMs (Bill of Materials).
• Drive sustainability initiatives to meet HP's sustainability commitments and goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of material properties and hardware and manufacturing.
• Ability to use engineering tools and software to test, design and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to communicate manufacturing plans, proposals and results and negotiate at management level.
• Knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies and data analytics is an added advantage.
• Power BI and dashboard reporting competency is an added advantage.
