Marketing Intern – Jan 2027 (6‑month)

About the role

The Marketing Intern will support Carousell’s Country Marketing team in executing in‑app and external campaigns, creating social media content, and analysing performance data to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement marketing campaigns across in‑app and out‑of‑app channels and measure their performance.
• Maintain day‑to‑day operational excellence of marketing activities.
• Conceptualise and execute social‑media strategies, producing engaging visual and written content.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop marketing assets.
• Support data reporting, generate insights and recommend improvements.
• Monitor user behaviour within the Carousell app to optimise campaigns.
• Ideate and test low‑cost social content, using basic filming and editing skills.
• Leverage AI tools to brainstorm concepts and optimise copy for different platforms.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Marketing or Business degree at a polytechnic or university.
• Familiarity with social‑media platforms and content requirements.
• Strong copy‑writing abilities and basic video‑editing skills.
• Ability to generate insights from large data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Suite applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Innovative mindset, self‑starter attitude and ability to multitask.
• Interest in Carousell and second‑hand marketplaces.
• Availability for a full‑time, 6‑month internship starting Jan 2027.
