Material Handler Specialist

About the role

The Material Handler Specialist supports DSV’s end‑to‑end logistics operations by ensuring smooth order fulfillment, accurate documentation, and efficient movement of goods. You will work closely with operations, forwarders, and internal teams to keep the supply chain flowing.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate order fulfillment and resolve related issues with operations.
• Book import/export shipments and arrange local deliveries with forwarders.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents for outgoing shipments.
• Organise cargo release to appointed transporters and ensure timely reporting.
• Handle transactions in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.
• Perform physical receiving, outbound processing, and assist with annual stock‑take and cycle counts.
• Execute value‑added services, maintain document control, and print picking orders.
• Address stock complaints from importers and verify that all SAP & WMS transactions are complete.

Required profile

• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably SAP and Oracle.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Willingness to share ideas and best practices to improve team performance.
