Material Handler Specialist – Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Material Handler Specialist to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate receiving, storing, and dispatching activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation for all inbound and outbound goods.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe to optimise efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics and sales teams for seamless operations.
• Handle returns, damaged items and discrepancy reporting.
• Enforce health, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP tools for inventory tracking and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising warehouse activities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory standards.
