Materials Store & Inventory Supervisor

About the role

The Store Supervisor oversees the daily operations and work activities of the GRSS warehouse, supervising a team responsible for the day-to-day management of goods receipt, storage and distribution. The role ensures accuracy and timeliness, enforces inventory controls and keeps inventory records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations and carry out inventory planning to support safe, accurate and efficient material flow.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined transactions, stock control, cycle counts and stock takes.
• Ensure materials are properly stored, identified and accounted for, supporting audit readiness and traceability.
• Maintain documentation and accurate records of store and inventory activities.
• Oversee non-finished goods shipping and support material availability and timely replenishment for production needs.
• Monitor inventory movement and material presentation, and drive adherence to standard work, process compliance and continuous improvement.
• Promote a safe working environment through team oversight and compliance with EHS requirements.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the industry at a similar job.
• Knowledge of production management and SAP.
• Strong leadership skills preferred.
• Experience in lean kaizen is advantageous.
