Medical Oncologist – Singapore

About the role

The Medical Oncologist will lead the diagnosis, staging and personalized treatment of cancer patients at our Orchard facility. The role involves delivering chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies while ensuring compliance with Singapore medical regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, stage, and design individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment regimens based on clinical developments.
• Collaborate with in‑house and external specialists to provide multidisciplinary cancer care.
• Conduct cancer screening services and interpret early‑detection tools such as mammograms, colonoscopies, PAP smears and low‑dose CT scans.
• Coordinate genetic testing and counsel patients when appropriate.
• Participate in internal multidisciplinary case reviews to maintain high‑quality integrated care.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized university, preferably UK or Australia.
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialist experience in oncology, preferably within Singapore’s public or private healthcare institutions.
• Specialist accreditation in Medical Oncology (e.g., MRCP with Oncology subspecialty or equivalent).
• Full registration or eligibility for registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Accreditation as a Specialist in Medical Oncology by the Singapore Specialist Accreditation Board.
