Network Engineering Intern

About the role

The Network Engineering Intern supports the IT Infrastructure Operations team, gaining hands-on experience in ITIL processes, change and incident management, and infrastructure lifecycle activities. The internship is full time, available to start between January and June 2027, and offers insight into how IT operations maintain a stable financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow ITIL processes and the project management process, including change management and incident management for IT infrastructure.
• Help track and document infrastructure changes, incidents and their resolutions, and support monitoring and follow-up on new initiatives to stabilise the IT infrastructure.
• Gain exposure to hardware and software technology refresh activities and contribute where possible.
• Take part in daily operations reviews, meetings and team discussions.
• Learn proactively from ongoing team activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• A basic understanding of IT infrastructure concepts is an advantage.
• Keen interest in IT infrastructure operations and enterprise IT environments.
• Available to start the internship from January to June 2027, full time.
