Night Shift Workplace Safety & Health Officer

About the role

The Night Shift Workplace Safety & Health Officer will lead safety initiatives on construction sites across Singapore, ensuring a zero‑incident environment during night operations. Reporting to the WSH Manager, you will collaborate with project teams to embed robust safety practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments on site and propose mitigation measures.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and enforce the permit‑to‑work system.
• Maintain compliance with the company’s QEHS Management System, WSH Act, and occupational safety regulations.
• Liaise with Project Managers to address safety, health, and environmental concerns.
• Lead safety programmes and advise on best practices.
• Participate in GGBS, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audits.
• Review and keep up‑to‑date the site’s WSH records.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by superiors.

Required profile

• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health Engineering (WSHE) or equivalent safety certifications (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably on infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to be based at the West site and relocate to Bayfront when the office is ready.
