OSAT Capacity Planning Manager

About the role

Marvell Technology, Inc. is looking for an OSAT Capacity Planning Manager who owns end-to-end capacity planning across its global OSAT subcontractor network, covering front-end back-end processes (KGD, Bump, Wafer Sort, WLCSP, Advanced Packaging) through assembly and test (FCBGA, FC-CSP, wire bond, final test, burn-in, post-test). Coverage is assigned flexibly according to business need, workload and subcontractor footprint. The role ensures Kinaxis-based capacity models are accurate and executable, and links planning outputs to day-to-day operations so customer orders are fulfilled on time, at minimal cost, with fast cycle times and optimal inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain near-term (0-6 months) and long-range (1-3 years) capacity plans across assigned OSAT process areas, aligned with business growth plans and adjusted as needs change.
• Act as process owner for Kinaxis capacity models, validating logic, constraints and data structures against subcontractor capability.
• Translate Kinaxis outputs into actionable execution plans, working with engineering, operations and subcontractor teams.
• Lead constraint-based planning and proactive bottleneck management, identifying capacity risks early and driving resolution.
• Own supplier capacity governance for assigned subcontractors, including capex tracking, expansion timelines and long-term infrastructure planning.
• Run scenario planning for demand surges, customer prioritization, NPI acceleration and supply disruptions, recommending trade-offs to management.
• Build and maintain executive dashboards on utilization, constraints, opportunities, risks and capacity commitments.
• Coordinate production issues affecting customer order fulfillment and report regularly to management.
• Flex across process areas and subcontractors, and partner with global engineering, test development, quality, IT and other disciplines on cross-functional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Industrial), Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor backend operations, OSAT management or supplier operations.
• Direct experience working with OSAT subcontractors (assembly, wafer sort, final test).
• Prior exposure to S&OP or demand-supply balancing processes.
