Philanthropy Lead - Tanoto Foundation

About the role

The Tanoto Foundation in Singapore is looking for a Philanthropy Lead to lead its leadership development programme and support grant management, governance and reporting. The role covers scholarship administration, grant administration, stakeholder engagement and impact and communications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation and continuous improvement of the leadership development programme, manage scholarship administration with university partners, and deliver training and mentorship for scholars
• Maintain a scholar and alumni database, organise the annual networking event and build strong relationships with scholars
• Coordinate scholarship programmes across the wider group portfolio and share knowledge across country programmes
• Support grant management, including processing donations and disbursements, assisting in proposal due diligence, monitoring grantees and collecting outcome data
• Support governance and reporting: prepare governance documentation with Finance/Legal, track budgets, support board meetings and keep accurate records
• Work with the Communications team on advocacy, branding and publicity, and gather impact stories and data

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Healthcare, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business, Communications, International Relations or a related discipline
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in programme management, philanthropy, grantmaking, higher education, community development, partnerships or the non-profit sector
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders; scholarship administration, leadership development, healthcare programmes or grant management experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with charity governance and reporting is preferred
