Planning and Control Planner

About the role

Applied Materials seeks a Planning and Control Planner to manage production, inventory, and process control activities, ensuring material availability and supporting engineering projects in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SAP work order release schedule and perform pre‑shortage analysis to increase component availability.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, and validate master scheduling.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders, prepare status reports, and participate in production meetings.
• Analyze usage data, order parts, expedite shortages, and manage obsolete inventory.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis, cycle counting, and data‑driven forecasting using Tableau, Python, and SQL.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in planning, inventory, and process control disciplines.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small projects.
