Planning and Control Planner (Shift)

About the role

The Production and Control Planner supports material control, inventory transactions, quality notification implementation, and project execution for manufacturing operations. This shift‑based role acts as the primary contact for part status inquiries and ensures accurate inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to ad‑hoc part status queries from Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement and Supply Chain teams, providing timely updates on material availability and shortages.
• Execute SAP MIGO transactions for goods receipts, inventory transfers and stock adjustments, investigating and correcting any discrepancies.
• Coordinate Quality Notification (QN) implementation with Quality, Engineering and Production to minimise operational impact.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for project materials and align material status with project milestones.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Business or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, production control, inventory management or supply‑chain operations.
• Familiarity with SAP (especially MIGO) and Quality Notification processes is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP, particularly MIGO transactions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
