Plant General Manager - Singapore

About the role

The Plant General Manager leads the Singapore concentrate and beverage base plant, which is a strategic Lighthouse site and fully export plant serving more than 20 markets. The role covers Plant Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning & Logistics, QSE, Finance, People & Culture and Operational Excellence, and is accountable for the approved business plan, continuity of supply and strong performance across safety, quality, service, cost, productivity, sustainability and people.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver plant business performance, leading all plant functions and driving operational excellence through continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.
• Deliver safe, reliable, cost-effective product supply while meeting sustainability, capital and financial commitments, and manage inbound materials, outbound shipments, customer orders, warehousing and manufacturing execution.
• Accelerate digital, automation, AI and advanced manufacturing use cases and define the plant's transformation agenda aligned to CPS Global strategy.
• Serve as the interface between CPS and external stakeholders such as bottling partners and government agencies like EDB and ARTC, and benchmark performance across the network.
• Foster a high-performance, safety-first culture, build a strong leadership team and develop a pipeline of future leaders.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Food Science or a related field.
• English proficiency and proficiency in the local language (verbal and written).
• Track record of strategic and operational decisions with P&L accountability, and experience leading large programmes across disciplines and regions.
• Proven people leadership, including leading multi-level teams and influencing in a matrixed environment.
• Preferred: more than 10 years of leadership experience in CPG/FMCG, food/beverage, pharmaceutical or chemical industries, and experience in both unionized and non-unionized plants.
