Principal / Senior Executive, Heavy Vehicle Parking

About the role

This Principal / Senior Executive position covers the processing of applications for licences to operate Heavy Vehicle (HV) Parks and Vehicle Parking Certificates. The role works with heavy vehicle park operators and owners, investigates obstructions on licensed parking lots and takes enforcement action against obstructing operators.

Key responsibilities

• Process applications for licences to operate Heavy Vehicle Parks and Vehicle Parking Certificates
• Interact with heavy vehicle park operators and owners
• Carry out investigations at HV parking places and enforce against operators who obstruct licensed parking lots
• Respond to customer requests and inquiries by telephone or in person
• Conduct user acceptance testing of new system functionalities and follow-up testing of identified issues
• Analyse large volumes of data and run complex queries using advanced Excel functions and formulas

Required profile

• Knowledge in any discipline
• Experience in enforcement is a strong bonus
• Good writing and communication skills
• Flair for dealing with customers; highly adaptable, able to work independently and multi-task
• Preferably holds a Class 3 driver's licence
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Chinese dialects is an advantage, as stakeholders may prefer to speak in these languages
