Principal Specialist – Global People Services (HR Automation)

About the role

The Principal Specialist in Global People Services will drive technical delivery for the PROX team, designing automation‑ready HR workflows and AI‑ready process guides. You will translate complex hire‑to‑retire challenges into clear, build‑ready specifications for platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Power Automate, UiPath and Copilot Studio.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end automation workflows, define rules, triggers, controls and validate feasibility across multiple platforms.
• Create AI‑ready process documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria and solution packs for rapid handoff to IT and platform teams.
• Provide technical functional support for recruit‑to‑retire processes, ensuring clear requirements, UAT readiness and benefit realization.
• Develop data mapping, event‑driven flow designs and integration checklists, addressing API, RPA and vendor dependencies.
• Lead stakeholder sessions, produce decision papers, coach team members on automation documentation and manage pilot to production transitions.

Required profile

• 15+ years of global or regional experience supporting HR services, transformation or technology‑enabled process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of hire‑to‑retire processes and hands‑on experience with Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, M365, SharePoint and Teams.
• Proven ability to design, configure, test and support Power Automate flows, UiPath RPA and AI agents such as Copilot Studio.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and ability to handle confidential employee data.
