Procurement Manager - Data Center (High Voltage)

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries, is hiring a Procurement Manager for a data centre (high voltage) project in Singapore. The role oversees procurement activities within a defined function or project segment, requiring deep expertise in procurement processes, strong analytical capabilities and the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve optimal sourcing outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for assigned categories, projects or business units, ensuring strategies align with organisational goals and driving cost optimisation, supplier performance and value creation.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, use data-driven insights and negotiation to influence decisions, and resolve conflicts.
• Solve complex, multi-variable procurement challenges through root cause analysis, balancing cost, quality, risk and timelines.
• Manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations and contract management, monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements, and ensure governance, compliance and adherence to procurement policies.
• Provide informal leadership, guidance and mentorship to team members or small workgroups and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
• Be accountable for the full outcomes of a procurement function, category or project segment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably with data centre experience.
• Track record of managing complex procurement initiatives and stakeholder environments.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes and commercial principles.
