Product Install Engineer (SFS)

About the role

KLA's Services team offers installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery for its customers' KLA assets. As a Product Install Engineer (SFS), you will deliver high-impact work in your area of expertise, installing semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites locally and worldwide while ensuring systems meet their performance specifications. The role requires high flexibility, adaptability and autonomy, with more than 80% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Install semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites locally and worldwide, ensuring systems meet specified performance specifications.
• Handle installation activities such as setup, alignment, calibration, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of complex capital equipment.
• Provide post-installation support, assist other field service engineers as appropriate, and coordinate with customers to minimise downtime.
• Prepare field service reports on customer support activity and document recurring problems for other supporting functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment is an advantage.
• Able to travel overseas extensively.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, initiative and ability to work independently.
