Product Technical Marketing Engineer

About the role

HP is hiring a Product Technical Marketing Engineer in Singapore. The role leads teams and projects that solve common and complex business issues, using developed subject matter knowledge. It manages and leads cross-functional program teams, delivers professional reports, develops schedules, budgets and resource plans, tracks progress against plans, identifies risks and creates mitigation plans, and mentors less-experienced staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead programs and projects driving the engineering development and implementation of a subsystem or component of a product or service.
• Manage moderate to high complexity projects, write professional reports and support operational and strategic plans.
• Understand the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods and disciplines of the program to accelerate delivery.
• Lead the deployment, launch and continuous improvement of new technologies and process automation from the worldwide engineering team.
• Develop schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation, logistics and support requirements with company and contract manufacturing teams.
• Coordinate project teams and internal and external partners, track progress and adjust schedules and resources to meet product requirements.
• Report progress, escalations and risk options to executive management and help resolve escalated issues within budget and roadmap.
• Mentor less-experienced staff and solve complex problems independently.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 4-7 years of experience in engineering development, project planning tools and software, people management or a related field; an advanced degree with 3-5 years is acceptable.
