Program Specialist - Consumer Inkjet Printers

About the role

HP is hiring a Program Specialist in Singapore to join an R&D team developing Consumer inkjet All-in-One and printer products. The role supports the Program Manager and Chief Engineer through the R&D development phase and all prototype builds, working with cross-disciplinary and geographical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering specifications and requirements for the product.
• Develop project schedules and drive projects to successful completion.
• Work with the technical team to set build objectives, drive readiness and manage build progress.
• Lead operations and/or production to establish project processes.
• Help maintain system quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collate requirements and volume for the build, construct the build matrix, manage the BOM and build costs, and ensure the test plan is ready.
• Follow up on many details and flag when the team is off-track, proposing supported options.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an R&D environment; preferred experience in All-in-One or inkjet printer products.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment, and to handle ambiguity.
• Fluent English; conversational Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Strong collaboration, communication and leadership skills, able to lead large cross-functional meetings.
