Project Manager - Ground Handling Operations

About the role

dnata Singapore's Ground Handling operations deliver safe, efficient and reliable airport services. The Business Planning & Performance team drives business improvement, strengthens project delivery and optimises performance. As Project Manager, you will lead operational improvement, project delivery and performance optimisation across Ground Handling, working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to turn data into measurable operational and financial improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders on business process improvement priorities and operational turnaround initiatives
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, TQM and continuous improvement methods to analyse processes and build improvement plans
• Lead cross-functional projects covering operational transformation, systems implementation, workforce optimisation and process redesign
• Develop and manage project plans, scope, timelines, resources and deliverables
• Set up project governance, manage risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities
• Develop business cases, manage budgets and forecasts, and track operational and financial benefits
• Work with Operations, Finance, HR, Safety and others, and drive change management and capability development
• Monitor industry trends and operational risks, and promote a safety-first, customer-focused environment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Aviation Management, Logistics or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in business planning, performance management, project management, operational excellence, process improvement or business transformation
• Proven track record leading operational improvement, change management or transformation initiatives with measurable results
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and driving operational and financial improvements

Required skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation abilities
• Proficiency in project management software, Power BI, Excel and performance reporting tools
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and presentation skills
• Ability to influence change and drive improvements in a fast-paced environment

An advantage is a certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/CSM, Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) or TQM, and experience in aviation, airport operations, ground handling, logistics or transportation.
