About the role
The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at NTU is recruiting a Project Officer (Chemist/Material Engineer). The role involves developing electrochemical processes and producing technical documentation and presentations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop electrochemical processes such as electroless plating, electroplating and electrochemical etching.
- Prepare technical write-ups and presentations.
Required profile
- Degree in Chemistry, Material Science and Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in surface finishing.
- Knowledge and experience in electrochemistry.
- Team player who is technically motivated to solve problems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidates will be exposed to lead (inorganic and organic, as Pb) and mercury (elemental and compound) during the course of work. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
