About the role
We are seeking a Project Officer to support the physics research group at NTU. The position involves maintaining research workstations, optimizing GPU performance for scientific workloads, and providing technical assistance to postdoctoral researchers. Key responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot workstations and associated software used in physics research.
- Optimize GPU performance for high‑performance numerical simulations.
- Run, submit, and monitor routine scientific computations and code executions.
- Assist postdoctoral fellows with code maintenance, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Perform regular software updates, ensure a stable computing environment, and document procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in physics or a related field.
- Familiarity with condensed matter physics concepts.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Entry‑level candidates are welcome to apply.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
