Project Proposal Engineer - Measurement Instruments

About the role

The Project Proposal Engineer will support the Water/Wastewater business by preparing accurate proposals and quotations for measurement instrument solutions. Based in Singapore, you will act as the technical bridge between customers and the internal sales and execution teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet sales targets and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Analyse RFPs, define project scope, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare costings, quotations and proposals using CEP and SAP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Review and negotiate terms & conditions, and create deviation/clarification lists.
• Participate in technical clarification meetings and provide technical assistance to customers.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, Finance and Supply Chain to gather inputs for proposals.
• Verify purchase orders, organise internal kickoff meetings and hand over projects to the execution team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Control, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in instrumentation, preferably within the water/wastewater sector.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
