Purchaser cum Procurement Executive (Engineering)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Purchaser cum Procurement Executive to support our engineering team by sourcing spare parts and consumables. The role involves managing inventory, ensuring product quality, and driving cost‑effective purchasing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase spare parts and consumables required by engineers.
• Maintain store inventory levels to support daily operations.
• Verify quality and compliance of all supplied products.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms with suppliers.
• Process purchase orders and monitor delivery timelines.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for competitive pricing and reliable service.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare monthly management reports.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and audits.
• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple purchase orders.
• Good communication skills for supplier negotiations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
