Quality Systems Intern (Bachelor's Degree)

About the role

Marvell's Quality Management System implements and drives global ISO9001-compliant processes, covering product life cycle, document control, change control, non-conforming process, IC product marking and labeling, NPI project management and customer RFIs. This internship suits someone currently pursuing a bachelor's degree who wants hands-on experience in quality systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with document control: creating, reviewing, revising and archiving quality documents and records
• Take part in internal audits by preparing audit materials, collecting evidence and tracking corrective actions
• Analyze quality and process performance data to spot trends, gaps and improvement opportunities
• Help process owners document workflows, procedures and work instructions
• Support CAPA activities, including root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness
• Work with cross-functional teams on quality initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Use AI tools and data analytics to find process inefficiencies, automate routine tasks and recommend improvements
• Develop AI-assisted solutions, dashboards or workflows that improve process effectiveness, document management and audit readiness
• Prepare reports, presentations and metrics on quality performance and project outcomes

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Process Management or a related field
• Familiarity with software development processes
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen, 5S and Lessons Learned
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a cross-functional environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Eligibility to access export-controlled information, as the role may involve technology subject to U.S. export control laws
