About the role
The Receiving Officer is responsible for managing all inbound and outbound shipments at The St. Regis Singapore. This role ensures accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise and guest packages while maintaining a secure and organized receiving area.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process deliveries, matching invoices with receiving reports.
- Stage merchandise by department, label appropriately, and deliver to the correct locations.
- Verify inventory counts, complete inventory logs, and reconcile shipping invoices.
- Handle incoming and outgoing department mail and packages, securing the receiving room.
- Follow hazardous material shipping regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate with guests regarding package receipt and obtain guest signatures.
- Report any loss, damage, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
