Regional Account Director – Greater Asia & Saudi Arabia

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is hiring a Regional Account Director for its Scent business. The role leads the combine business team across Greater Asia and Saudi Arabia and is based in Singapore in a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the region's commercial agenda, overseeing key customer relationships, cross-functional alignment, people management and growth strategies.
• Own regional commercial performance: sales growth, profitability, forecasting accuracy, pricing discipline and delivery against targets.
• Monitor category, market, consumer, competitor, product and fragrance trends and turn them into opportunities for innovation and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain a regional market map covering customer structure, decision-makers, competitors, category priorities, whitespace and market dynamics.
• Identify risks, threats and opportunities early and influence decisions with clear, fact-based recommendations.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Fragrance, Marketing, Business or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of fragrance experience in an international environment.
• Strong regional market experience across Asia.
• Experience in body care, hair care, personal wash or broader beauty and personal care categories preferred.

Required skills

• Ability to handle financial concepts such as pricing, margin and forecasting, and to work with IT systems.
• Expertise in driving olfactive strategy and creative direction.
• Good business acumen, customer relationship management and presentation skills.
