About the role
The College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University seeks a motivated Research Associate to advance AI modelling and human behavioural experiments. This position sits at the intersection of computer engineering, data science and neuroscience, contributing to cutting‑edge research on neural circuits controlling eye movements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI models for neuroscience applications.
- Design, conduct, and analyse human behavioural experiments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate computational and experimental findings.
Required profile
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including academic paper preparation and public presentation.
- Solid computational background with experience in deep learning research.
- Background in neuroscience, particularly in designing and conducting behavioural experiments.
