Research Associate – Neuroimaging & Adolescent Mental Health

About the role

The Youth Affective Neuroscience Lab at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) seeks a motivated Research Associate/Assistant to support interdisciplinary projects on adolescent mental health. You will work with multi‑modal data, including neuroimaging, behavioural and digital measures, to help advance early detection and intervention strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate participant recruitment and oversee data collection sessions.
• Manage and maintain high‑quality behavioural and neuroimaging datasets.
• Support statistical analyses and ensure thorough research documentation.
• Assist with grant administration, ethics submissions, and overall project coordination.
• Contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, and grant deliverables.
• Support laboratory communications, outreach activities, and website management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Interest in adolescent mental health and interdisciplinary research.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Statistical programming experience (Python, MATLAB, or R).
• Experience working with neuroimaging data (advantageous).
