About the role

The Centre of AI in Medicine at NTU seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to lead and coordinate its AI‑driven healthcare initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping research strategy, fostering collaborations, and driving grant applications to advance patient‑care innovations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑, medium‑, and long‑term research strategies that enhance the Centre’s capacity and impact.
• Monitor research performance indicators and propose initiatives to improve productivity and sustainability.
• Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare organisations, industry, and government agencies.
• Initiate, coordinate, and oversee multidisciplinary research projects, both nationally and internationally.
• Design and execute research studies, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards throughout data management and analysis.
• Prepare research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and manuscripts for diverse audiences.
• Lead the preparation and submission of high‑quality grant proposals to secure competitive funding.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated post‑doctoral research experience in AI, machine learning, or data‑driven healthcare.
• Proven ability to lead research projects and collaborate across disciplines.
• Strong track record of publishing in peer‑reviewed journals and securing research funding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for academic and stakeholder audiences.
