Research Fellow (Nanofluidics Devices)

About the role

The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at NTU is recruiting a Research Fellow to work on nanofluidics devices. The school supports interdisciplinary research in areas such as nanomaterials, low dimensional materials, biomaterials and sustainable materials.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out research work according to project deliverables, including preparing 2D materials and porous materials for nanochannel fabrication
• Analyse materials comprehensively, including density measurement, microstructure analysis and mechanical and thermal properties
• Draft technical reports and manuscripts for publication
• Maintain specialised equipment and coordinate procurement with external suppliers

Required profile

• PhD in membrane science, chemical engineering, materials science or a related field
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in membrane separation and ion transport
• Familiarity with 2D materials and porous materials
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaborate with team members
