Research Fellow – Neuroimaging and Data Analysis

About the role

The Cognitive Neuroimaging Centre (CoNiC) at NTU seeks a Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow to lead and support neuroimaging experiments across multiple modalities. The role involves designing studies, processing data, and collaborating with internal and external researchers to advance cognitive neuroscience research.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and conduct experiments using structural and functional MRI, EEG, fNIRS, MEG and related neuroimaging techniques.
• Develop and optimise imaging protocols, including paradigm and task design for functional MRI studies.
• Perform image analysis and post‑processing using software such as SPM, CONN, BrainVoyager, EEGlab and NIRSlab.
• Implement stimulus presentation and data analysis pipelines in E‑Prime, MATLAB, PsychoPy and Python.
• Conduct statistical analyses with SPSS, R or Python to interpret research findings.
• Provide technical support to principal investigators, assist with grant proposals, and mentor graduate students and staff.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on expertise in neuroimaging experiment design and execution.
• Proficiency in image processing and data analysis workflows.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate technical concepts clearly.
