About the role
The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at NTU is looking for a Research Fellow to work in an NTU laboratory, focusing on the development of semiconductor nanostructures for photocatalytic reactions. The school offers an interdisciplinary research environment covering areas such as nanomaterials, energy materials and sustainable materials.
Key responsibilities
- Take part in research projects with the research team to ensure delivery of project deliverables.
- Maintain lab equipment and supplies, including procurement and liaison with suppliers.
- Mentor junior PhD students and undergraduate students on their research.
- Assist in grant writing and in reports that summarise research findings.
Required profile
- PhD in engineering or science with first-author journal publications on solution-based synthesis of semiconductor nanostructures; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in photocatalytic tests.
- Ability to operate gas chromatography equipment.
