About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is recruiting a Research Fellow in Photonic Integration. The School is one of the founding schools of NTU, with over 3,000 undergraduates and 2,000 graduate students, and is ranked 4th in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subjects.
Key responsibilities
- Design of high-performance integrated lasers
- Design of a quantum photonic device library
- Photonic device-level characterization
- Large-scale photonic integration
- Photonic system characterization
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant discipline
- At least 4 years of experience in laser and photonic design
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently under strict timelines with excellent organizational skills
