About the role
The successful candidate will join the research team at NTU Singapore to explore how quantum information processing can advance machine‑learning methods. This postdoctoral‑level fellowship focuses on developing new theoretical tools at the intersection of quantum channels, distributed quantum computation and quantum‑enhanced data analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct independent research on quantum‑information and machine‑learning topics and publish results in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate final‑year projects and PhD students working on related problems.
- Investigate quantum channels, distributed and black‑box quantum computation, quantum correlations, benchmarking and related resource theories.
Required profile
- PhD in theoretical quantum information, quantum computing, machine learning or a closely related discipline.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to interdisciplinary audiences.
- Demonstrated research experience in quantum information science is preferred.
