About the role
The successful candidate will join the Geriatric Medicine team, providing first‑line clinical coverage and managing more complex cases. They will also mentor junior doctors, leveraging a broad understanding of frontline services. In addition, the role involves assisting in outpatient clinics and supporting procedures or operations under senior supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line clinical coverage for geriatric patients.
- Manage complex cases within the Geriatric Medicine service.
- Guide and mentor junior doctors in clinical practice.
- Assist in running outpatient clinics.
- Support procedures and operations as permitted by senior doctors.
Required profile
- Active clinical practice as a medical doctor.
- Basic medical degree from an accredited university or medical school.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification (e.g., MRCP) – advantageous.
- Minimum three years post‑housemanship experience as a medical officer or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
- Registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
