Restructuring Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Restructuring Associate to join Kroll’s Restructuring practice. The role offers exposure to high‑profile insolvency and restructuring engagements across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with lenders, investors, companies and their advisors in distressed situations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on high‑profile insolvency, restructuring and cross‑border investigations.
• Support day‑to‑day management of financial and operational restructuring, liquidations and other formal or informal insolvency procedures.
• Compile and analyse financial records, conduct asset inventories, and handle creditor claims.
• Perform cash‑flow forecasting, financial analysis and investigative work.
• Draft sections of detailed reports and court documents for stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress to ensure delivery within statutory and client deadlines.

Required profile

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• CA and/or CPA qualification with 1‑2 years of experience in restructuring, forensic accounting or insolvency advisory.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent written communication.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
