Retail Department Manager

About the role

Decathlon Singapore is looking for a Department Manager to take decisions and be responsible for the success of an entire sport ecosystem in the store, including the recruitment, coaching and development of teammates. Working hours are 44 per week, with shift work and occasional weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Human capital: recruit, onboard and train talent, uphold the company values and human fundamentals, ensure a safe and healthy environment, and lead the management scheme
• Commercial policy: analyse customer data, select product offers linked to omnichannel and circularity strategies, implement the digital customer experience, build the mass plan and mobilise sport communities through communications and events
• Omnichannel experience: manage the loyalty programme, act on customer feedback, and help customers find products quickly
• In-store performance: build an annual business and team trajectory, manage forecasts, schedule peak hours, and ensure stock accuracy and availability
• Daily safety and organisation: ensure the safety of people and goods, know the technical systems, and run the daily business and service activity
