Sales Associate

About the role

A growing team is looking for a motivated and dedicated Sales Associate to join. The role centres on building relationships with clients and contributing to the commercial success of the organisation, while driving sales activities and delivering a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Achieve individual and team sales targets through proactive outreach and follow-up
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the relevant systems
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations and supporting documentation
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth fulfilment and after-sales support
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing feedback to the wider team
• Attend industry events, exhibitions or networking functions as required

Required profile

• Prior experience in a sales, business development or customer-facing role is advantageous; candidates new to the field with a strong drive to succeed are welcome
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage confidently with clients
• Results-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing pipelines and documentation
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM tools or sales management software is a bonus
