Sales Development Representative - ASEAN

About the role

Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security, is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for its ASEAN market. The SDR drives awareness and adoption of Cohesity's solutions, identifies new business opportunities and helps build a strong, sustainable sales pipeline. The role suits people starting a career in sales and requires proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and/or Bahasa Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Build and refine outbound prospecting lists with team members and identify key decision-makers in target accounts.
• Create and run multi-channel outreach sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) and respond promptly to inbound leads.
• Run discovery calls to assess prospects' needs and introduce Cohesity solutions.
• Qualify leads against predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives, then hand off qualified opportunities.
• Develop deep knowledge of the Cohesity platform to communicate its value proposition.

Required profile

• Ideally 2 years of relevant sales experience; receptive to coaching and continuous feedback.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree.
• Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, for those within a reasonable commute.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and/or Bahasa Malaysia.

Required skills

• Comfortable using CRM and prospecting tools.
• Experience researching companies, cold calling, emailing and navigating organisational hierarchies.
• Confidence in cold calling and handling objections.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
