About the role

As a Sales Development Representative you will research potential clients, connect with and educate prospects, and qualify leads through outreach such as cold calls, emails, and social networking, with the goal of scheduling demos for Account Executives.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new qualified leads and grow an individual book of business.
  • Identify, connect with, qualify, sort and track leads.
  • Meet daily metrics such as minimum number of cold calls and emails.
  • Conduct consultative cold‑call prospecting, articulate value propositions and overcome objections.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in Salesforce and keep contact information up‑to‑date.
  • Monitor market conditions and competitive activities.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required profile

  • Competitive, energetic self‑starter comfortable in a quota‑driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to meet call‑volume or talk‑time targets.
  • Excellent listening, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Technical aptitude to demonstrate NinjaOne’s IT management software.
  • Coachable, eager to learn with a solid work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and follow policies.

Required skills

  • Salesforce (or other CRM) experience.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as SalesLoft.
  • Understanding of IT environments, Resellers, MSPs, and C‑level IT executives.
