Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding) - Junior & Senior

About the role

A well-established international freight forwarding business is hiring a Sales Executive in a dedicated hunter role, with positions available at junior and senior levels. You will grow the company's customer base across air freight, sea freight and multimodal logistics solutions, working with clear performance metrics and an attractive incentive structure.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new business by identifying, targeting and converting prospects through cold calls, cold emails and in-person outreach
• Build and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure, keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
• Understand customer supply chain needs and propose tailored air, sea and multimodal freight solutions
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, RFQs and pricing proposals with the operations and pricing teams
• Run client meetings, presentations and negotiations to turn prospects into profitable customers
• Hand over new accounts to the operations team with thorough briefings
• Meet monthly and quarterly new business targets, focusing on margin quality and long-term account sustainability
• Monitor competitors, pricing trends and market movements, and report regularly on pipeline status, conversion ratios and market intelligence

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Business, Sales or a related discipline
• Junior level: about 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or B2B sales; Senior level: about 3-5 years
• Comfortable with cold calling and persistent, professional prospecting
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English
• Self-motivated, disciplined follow-up and able to stay focused on targets despite setbacks

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is advantageous
