Sales Finance Country Controller – Southeast Asia

About the role

Apple is seeking a seasoned finance professional to serve as the Sales Finance Country Controller for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. You will act as a trusted steward of Apple’s investments while partnering closely with the sales team to drive growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide market insights on political, economic, regulatory, and competitive dynamics in each country.
• Develop and evaluate business cases for demand‑generation initiatives, track results and assess ROI.
• Evaluate and approve reseller‑channel investments, including store expansion, fixtures, staffing, training, back‑margin, and consumer offers.
• Partner with sales on go‑to‑market strategy, delivering financial analysis to maximize ROI across routes‑to‑market, partners, lines‑of‑business and products.
• Build relationships with partner CFOs and finance teams to understand profitability and joint‑strategy impact; monitor public partner financial statements.
• Support quarterly country forecasts with detailed insights by partner and product.
• Ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting, including accruals and payment recognition to partners.
• Analyze business drivers, risks and opportunities to advise country managers and senior leadership on long‑term strategy and investment decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP)
