Sales Manager Exterior ASEA

About the role

Continental's ContiTech sector, a material expert for industry applications, is looking for a Sales Manager Exterior for the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The role drives the segment's sales strategy and is accountable for ambitious growth targets in sales, margin and market share for the LivTec product portfolio. It is a full-time position based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a high-impact sales plan for markets, products and industries in the region, and set and achieve challenging margin and growth targets.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction, build strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders, and analyse sales performance, market trends and competition.
• Develop tactical and strategic plans aligned with segment growth, capitalise on emerging trends and new product opportunities, and present strategies to executive leadership.
• Own the profitability and sustainable growth of the area, ensure operations comply with regulations and company standards, and safeguard company investments and assets.
• Coordinate with central functions such as Design, Marketing, SCM and R&D, foster a high-performance team culture, and represent the segment externally with customers, authorities and industry partners.

Required profile

• University degree in technical, scientific or business studies.
• At least 5 years of senior sales management experience; experience in the windows/doors components industry is preferred, and furniture industry knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding ambitious sales and margin targets.
• Deep market knowledge of customer and competitor trends, and specific technical experience with lamination film for window profiles.
• International or intercultural experience strongly preferred; leadership experience is an advantage.
